The Assam State School Education Board announced the HS exam date 2026. The class 12 final exam will start on 11th February 2026 and end on 16th March 2026. All the practical exams will be held from 27th January to 7th February.

HS Exam Routine 2026
Instruction Mentioned in HS Routine 2026
Some important key points mentioned in the HS Final Exam Routine 2026, such as
MIL (Modern Indian Languages) include Assamese, Bengali, and Bodo. Garo, Hmar, Hindi, Khasi, Manipuri, and Mizo. Nepali, Urdu, and Karbi.
Advanced languages include Advanced Assamese, Advanced Bengali, Advanced Bodo, Advanced Hindi, and Advanced Manipuri.
Music (Group A) includes Hindustani vocal, Kathak dance, tabla, violin, and sitar.

NSQF subjects include IT-ITES/retail trade, agriculture, automotive, and private security. Healthcare/Electronics/Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance/Beauty & Wellness/Physical Education and Sports/Tourism & Hospitality/Apparel Made-Ups and Home Furnishing.
10 (ten) minutes extra time is allowed from 8.50 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. in the morning shift and 1.20 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. in the afternoon shift to read the question paper only. The officer-in-charge will arrange to distribute question papers accordingly.
The practical examinations will be held from 27th January 2026 to 7th February 2026 in each institution under the jurisdiction of ASSEB, Div.-11, where students were registered in the 2024-25 session.
