Once again, Himanta Biswa Sarma won from the Jalukbari constituency in the 2026 election. This is not a surprise for most people of Assam. Since 2001, he has been MLA from jalukbari constituency. This time no different. Sarma won from the Jalukbari constituency for the 6th time.
