Guwahati, July 10: Today, the Assam government budget 2026-27 has announced a proposal to introduce metro rail projects in Guwahati. The Assam government is confirming that a feasibility study for the project will commence soon. This proposal is expected to strengthen our transport infrastructure and improve connectivity as the city continues to expand.
