Guwahati is all set to witness its first-ever air show over the Brahmaputra, at Lachit Ghat, The Air Show in Guwahati 2025. More than 75 aircraft from 7 different IAF bases will take part in the show.
The Air Show Guwahati 2025 is going to light up on 9 November. It is the 93rd anniversary of the Indian Air Force. It is the first time Assam will host the Indian Air Force Day celebration. It highlights that Northeast India is growing strategically.
Celebration of Indian Air Force Day
On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary celebration, Assam will host the first-ever air show in Guwahati in 2025. Defence Minister Raj Nath Singh will come to this celebration on 9th November at Lachit Ghat near Fancy Bazar.

- Date: Main show display on 9th November, 2025.
- Venue: The air show will be flying over the River Brahmaputra at Lachit Ghat.
- Time: 12:00 to 2:00 PM—the main air show is going to happen.
