Under Anundoram Barooah Award students with distinction & star marks in HSLC exams are rewarded with a computer every year. This year, instead of laptop, they shall get Rs 20,000 in their bank accounts in DBT mode. They’re free to purchase computers of their choice.
Govt of Assam has decided to offer regular pay scale along with all other benefits including service up to 60 years to 29701 teachers working under SSA. Also 11260 State Pool teachers working under SSA with a fixed salary, and 5243 contractual teachers working in various high schools will draw equivalent pay, service tenure, and leave enhancement at par with their counterparts in state government.
We’re pleased to launch a unique program VidyaDaan which shall serve as a platform for anyone to donate knowledge on any subject. This shall be hosted as e-content for children of class-1 to 12 to ensure continuity of quality learning across the country.
